Tokyo Marui H&K MP5 SD5

Ask 10 random people to name the first submachine gun that comes to mind, you will either hear " Uzi " or "MP5." Tokyo Marui did not let us down with this gun. It met all of my expectations and actually exceeded them.

Realism

Well, lets hit the bad things first, since they are small. First of all, the gun is totally plastic. The silencer is plastic, with no foam. The inside of the silencer looks like a cheap pep boys exhaust tip. Again, as with most MP5's, the charging handle does absolutely nothing. Now, other than that, this gun is a dead look alike. The HK MP5 trademark is on the top of the sight rail, and the measurements and look of this gun are perfect.

Functionality

While being one of the best CQB weapons made, this gun does double very well as a light assault weapon. As for actual functionality, this gun is similar to most all stock AEG's. However, this gun has the fastest firing stock EG700 that I have ever seen. This gun has a crazy ROF.

Effectiveness On the Field

Well, I have never used this gun in battle, the one pictured belongs to Wraith, but I have shot it on the range, and have had it shot AT me on the field. Stock, when Wraith and I played, my Steyr outranged the MP5, but the MP5's rate of fire was higher. Due to the plastic - plastic clip interface, reloading is easy, quick, and idiot proof. As you can see in the pics, wraith bought the shorty MP5K double hi-cap. (250). This gun is also very accurate within it's range.

Problems

To date, we have experienced no problems with the gun. It fires reliably, and consistently.

IMO Opinions

This is a very reliable and very competent weapon. It can be used super effectively for CQB and can actually be used as a very effective mid range assaulter. The gun is actually kind of quiet despite the fake silencer. Up against an A4, this gun is invisibly quiet. Watch full auto fire, as this gun fires FAST. You'll be swapping clips while that guy who's tree you wasted runs away.
