What happened at OP: Global Shadow...

It was a scorching hot day, and no one involved would have rather been anywhere else...

As both Armies amassed in their corners, the first shot was heard around the countryside. Both Armies quickly moved to key objectives, capturing what they could, and attacking what they couldn't. The Russians started out strong, taking many objectives, and locating most of the missile, however, the final piece would prove to be their downfall as it was never recovered.

The Russians fought hard, and held fast to their territory, never allowing the Rangers to get sure footing in the main objective. The Russian team was the first to send scouts into the local forest. They also sent a small force to occupy the surrounding area around the Ranger Drop Zone, raising general concern and causing chaos for inbound American Forces.

However, despite the valiant effort by the Russians, under the superb command of Papa Bear, the Rangers general, the Americans managed to defend parts of the missile for a short time, and afterward, occupied one of the main objectives, and eventually managed to push the Russians back to their homes in the city. The Americans continued the push, and even though the Russians found the last part of the Missile, the Americans ambushed a few caravans with missile parts, and detained them long enough to get forces into the city, the ensuing fight outlasted the timer on the rockets computer, and since it was not totally built, it was rendered useless.

Both Armies fought hard, but in the End, the Rangers were victorious. Will this inspire the Russians to strike again ? To Strike Harder ? Faster ? Stay Tuned as we bring you Operation Global Shadow 2 coming November 2 & 3.
