: Mission Briefing :
Shortly after the
defeat of the Russian terrorists, the United States Rangers returned home,
and thought they would get a chance to live their lives until the next
threat presented itself. Unfortunately, they
thought wrong.
United States
intelligence has received multiple leads of evidence suggesting an attack on
America. 3 of these report come from trusted sources and are now being
investigated. It seems that the Russian
Terrorist group who was put down a few months earlier has decided to seek
its revenge. Only the targets this time are not Army Rangers, but U.S. Citizens.
In a small
town outside of Atlanta, Georgia, one of the country’s largest Water
Reservoir Dams stands high and proud. This Dam provides water for over half
of North Georgia, and 1\4 of South Georgia. The Soviet Terrorists intend to
detonate the dam, causing a Tidal Wave to careen through the mountain
valleys, and crippling basically half of the state of Georgia. The Tidal
Wave from this dam, if it were to collapse, would be large enough to
effectively vaporize up to 20 miles worth of land. Civilian casualties are
estimated at 36,000 who live in the town beneath the Dam, and at least 50
million dollars worth of valued property could be caught in the wave.
The Rangers
have been summoned and the townsfolk have started evacuation. What started out
as a weekend off for America’s special forces has turned into a battle on
their home soil. The Soviets have brought the war home…
America must now depend on
it’s hometown heroes to stop the Red Tide.
